Seattle Supersonics from Seattle was a basketball team in the NBA between the years 1968 - 2007. After that, the owner group, led by Clay Bennett, wanted to move the team to Bennett's hometown of Oklahoma. This is despite the fact that support groups were formed such as Save Our Sonics (SOS) to keep the team in Seattle so the move was a fact.
